We cordially invite you to a third whiskey tasting in the ambiance of one of the most modern planetariums in the world. From 20:00 onwards, experience a fascinating star show in the planetarium dome (600 square meters of projection screen) with breathtaking images and live music from the band “Behind Blue Eyes”.
What can I expect?
- Free tasting of 9 different, unusual types of whiskey
glass & glass holder - A fascinating star show with breathtaking images rounds off the live concert with “Behind Blue Eyes”.
- You will be spoiled with culinary delights (for a fee) in front of the building with the “Echte” Dönninghaus — the cult Bochum curry sausage!
- Non-alcoholic drinks and beer are offered (for a fee) in the planetarium.
Other important information:
- It is not allowed to bring your own food and drinks.
- Optional for guests from Essen: The optional bus transfer from Essen Central Station to Bochum Planetarium (only if you actually register)!
An inquiry must be made directly after booking the ticket - The bus (JABO-Reisen) leaves for the “Planetarium Bochum” at 6:30 p.m., please get to the bus stop in good time! The bus stop is at Essen Central Station, at the coach station between Hauptbahnhof and A40 an der Freiheit. This is NOT the bus station for regular buses! The return journey to Essen Central Station is at 23:00.

Very nice event in Bochum! We really liked the selection of whiskeys and the background we learned about them. Of course, the location (planetarium) and the band that performed one or the other classic were also highlights.
