Class description
Packing food without plastic is not that difficult! Beeswax wraps are suitable as plastic-free and sustainable packaging. In order to make the beeswax wraps ourselves, we will treat cotton cloths with beeswax in the workshop. The beeswax wraps protect your food from drying out and keep it fresh longer.
What are beeswax wraps?
Beeswax wraps are the sustainable answer to cling film. Beeswax wraps are made from natural materials: beeswax, jojoba oil and tree resin and keep sliced fruit, vegetables, bread and much more fresh longer with their antibacterial properties. In addition, beeswax wraps protect you and the environment from harmful plasticizers in plastic.
What is the process?
First, you will receive an introduction and information about beeswax wraps. Together, we then transform organic cotton fabrics with beeswax, resin and jojoba oil into stylish, plastic-free cling film. Of course, you can then take them home with you, made by yourself, beeswax wraps.
