Would you like to spend a great and adventurous time on the water? Canoeing is easier than you think. Paddle through Leipzig in your group. The canoe trip is perfect as a team event, as a JGA or simply as a canoe trip with friends!
How does this activity work?
- The meeting point is at the canoe rental in Leipzig on the agreed date. You will receive the exact address of the canoe rental in Cologne in advance.
- You will receive the canoe equipment on site — this includes paddles, life jackets, a map with the planned route for the canoe trip and a luggage bin so that your belongings do not get wet.
- You will also receive instructions on paddling techniques for your canoe trip and some tips on how to behave correctly along certain sections of the river.
- The canoe trip starts! With your canoes, you'll paddle the agreed route and experience Leipzig from the water.
- We plan the canoe trip for you: Admire great sights along your canoe trip on the White Elster or enjoy nature in waters just outside Leipzig.
- Enjoy time on the water together — our canoe trips are real adventures in the middle of Leipzig!
Who should definitely take part?

No special previous paddle boating experience or sporting skills are required, but participants should be able to swim.

What to bring?
It is best to bring a change of clothes in case your clothes get wet while canoeing.
You are also welcome to bring something to drink and a small snack. If the sun is shining that day, remember to wear a head covering.
