Just before Christmas, this umbrella can be a beautiful and very special Christmas gift. For yourself too.
Traditional hand-sewn lampshades were never out of fashion, but are currently “top in vogue” again. They are homely and fit into many interior styles.
How does this activity work?
This day course is a hobby workshop. We sew a high-quality shade and each participant goes home with their finished lampshade. To ensure that the time works out, we will prepare some details for you before the course starts. The finished shades fit E-14 and E-27 sockets and can be used for both standing and hanging lamps.
We produce a beautiful hand-sewn and hand-pleated lampshade step by step. Complete with lining and outer cover and trim Some basic techniques of screen sewing are taught.
Who should definitely take part?
No previous experience is required, but patience and interest in hand sewing should be brought along.
