We went to the steak seminar yesterday. It was simply great. Lots of good advice and great food. The group was great too. Thanks to Maik and his team!

Our grill master Maik was super nice, had a really good idea and really passed it on to us with a lot of wit and skill. I can fully recommend the Bergische Grillakademie 👍🏻

I thought I already knew everything about grilling, I must have thought wrong. What a hubris. Maik's team picked me (us) up right from the start. Questions were answered precisely and conclusively and always with a pinch of humor (pure entertainment). The three-course steak menu is a treat. With little effort, 100% experience and taste. And best of all, we didn't need a lot of ingredients at all. In addition to enjoyment, this left time for conversations and the recipes were sent directly to the account via email. I was able to take part in a seafood course today when the weather was perfect. I have already met Maik at a long tasting, very friendly and competent. Learning by doing was just the right concept, time flew by, much too fast. Top price/performance. I will also book other courses, such as SeaFood Premium. Please keep up the good work.

We went to the barbecue class and absolutely loved it! The evening started off relaxed with a warm welcome, drinks to choose from and friendly get-togethers in a relaxed atmosphere. The course was well organized: small groups, our own grill masters, high-quality ingredients — and so much to enjoy! The location is stylish and cozy, there was a barbecue outside in great weather. Particularly positive: no sales gimmicks, just enjoy! A fair price-performance ratio. Tip: Arrive early as there is only limited parking near the castle. We will definitely be back again!

We took part in the barbecue course and were completely impressed. Right from the start, we received a very warm welcome. While we waited for the rest of the participants, we were able to make ourselves comfortable outside, get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere and use our own fridge with soft drinks, water and alcoholic beverages — all inclusive. That was a really relaxed and successful start to the evening. The course itself was well organized: small groups of 4-6 people, each with their own grill master, so that you could really get involved yourself. Our grill master was very well informed, the chef just as competent and friendly. There was plenty of high-quality grilling — we ate so much that nothing really “went down” in the end. We also particularly liked the stylishly furnished house where you can stay during the course. The large windows create a bright, pleasant atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. Grilling was done outside — in great weather and in a very well-kept outdoor area. Particularly positive: There were no sales campaigns — no intrusive recommendations about barbecues or spices. Absolutely fair for around 120€ per person — we would love to come back! The only clue: You should arrive early to find a parking space. Especially when the weather is good, many tourists visit the nearby castle, and parking directly on the premises is not permitted — but this is pointed out several times in e-mail communication. It didn't bother us.

It was a great experience, a lot of fun. The ingredients were plentiful and delicious, the course instructor was very accommodating and was able to explain well. The participants were a nice group. Unfortunately, the information on their confetti homepage about the duration of the event (10:00 to 18:30) was incorrect. The event ended at 2 p.m. We were already pretty full by then.

The course was super fun and I will book more despite the higher price because the quality, the ease and the course in its entirety is simply worth it. The time flew by and the food was simply delicious. Questions were always answered in concrete terms and were also addressed. Absolute recommendation!

We had a great barbecue class with Maik and a lot of fun! The food was super delicious, there was new information for every (supposed) grill expert and the atmosphere was great. I can heartily recommend a barbecue course with Maik as a team event, company party or with friends!

Yesterday I had the honor to attend this wonderful barbecue course. We were able to grill half on gas half over charcoal in order to feel the differences. Meat and the goods themselves were of top quality. Mike the owner has accompanied us perfectly through the time. Chapeau to him and the entire team. I'm looking forward to the next course. Thank you again for this lovely 4h.

The grill seminar - steak - was very good. Simply explained dishes that are easy to prepare at home. No great experience is required, everyone is involved and can follow well. The grill masters do the courses on a part-time basis because they enjoy it, as you can see. Very great evening

Had a great evening with my father in a very nice group at the steak grill seminar. The instructor was very nice and explained everything well. The dishes are easy to prepare, so you don't need to have much experience in cooking or grilling. The recipes were delicious and I can imagine actually grilling them at home. It's a good birthday gift for my dad. We are also thinking about attending a follow-up seminar.

Great barbecue course - great atmosphere - competent grill master! Theme of the evening: steak. The quality of the meat was top! Get great recipes, get very good instructions and simple tricks. We will book more courses. Thanks Maik ;-)

Absolute top class!!! Very knowledgeable and cool host. First-class ingredients and we have grilled a 4-course menu. There were three different steaks. Everything was explained in detail. Rs was grilled with coal and gas. Price/performance was 100% correct. Great location and great barbecue course.

I attended a 'basic' barbecue course there and am extremely satisfied. Maik had only prepared a few things so that all participants could easily understand how the menu was made and prepared. In a group, it is once again so much fun to prepare the individual courses and then grill in the style of their choice. There are also lots of tips on how to properly handle the grill and the food to be grilled. An all-round successful evening, which I like to complete with other barbecue courses.

I found the steak grilling course extremely good! You've learned a lot of new tricks and tricks that you wouldn't even try out yourself otherwise. Not only was the course fun, but the variety of dishes was also really fantastic! We also booked the Christmas party directly afterwards and are delighted!
