About Nikodemus Berger

Nicodemus Berger is one of Berlin's youngest Michelin-winning chefs. Born in Vienna, he has been a vegetarian since the age of four. After stints at the 5-star Hotel Le Meridien Vienna, 2-star restaurant Reinstoff Berlin and Le Faubourg (Sofitel), he became chef at Bonvivant Cocktail Bistro in 2021. In 2023, he and his team won a Michelin star.

His cuisine combines basic French structures with Asian influences and regional ingredients — always vegetarian. Nicodemus values intense tastes, surprising aromas, varied textures and a balanced composition. Sorbets, aromatic oils and hearty ice cream refresh the taste between courses and make every menu a culinary experience.

You start the evening with a champagne reception and greetings from the Bonvivant kitchen. Nicodemus then gives you an insight into his kitchen philosophy and shows you how to compose menus that not only taste good but also visually inspire.

In the practical part of the master class, you cook a 4-course meal together with other participants, while Nicodemus repeatedly discusses key work steps, gives tips and answers questions. You'll learn how to:

  • Set taste accents with herbs, oils, sorbets and spices
