Every piece of old furniture has potential! After this workshop, you'll also know how to tickle it out!
The eight-hour DIY workshop provides in-depth basic knowledge on the topic of “preparing and painting furniture surfaces correctly”:
- Suitability of surfaces - Sanding, abrasives and grits - spatula, kit and glue
- types of brushes and rollers, tools
- primer, barrier base and clearcoat - Varnish
and color science
- decorative design techniques
- use of color systems such as RAL and NCS as well as color scanners The participants Inns
Try out different products, techniques and tools on exercise boards. Using a workpiece, a solid wood step stool, participants learn how furniture surfaces can be ideally prepared and painted perfectly. With a wide selection of colors and the use of decorative design techniques, each individual stool is unique!
The topic of “color as a means of design” is also very important in the workshop, as color influences our emotions, serves as a means of communication and underlines individuality.
The course fees include around 70€ material costs, a lunch snack and drinks. Please wear clothes that can get “dirty.”
There will be a total of 6 participants, which ensures personal and individual support.
