About this class

I am one of the few children who loved eating lots of fish, and one of my favorite foods in the world is Tilapia Noir. It is a fish that is cooked with braised vegetables. As an appetizer, we will prepare Soso Ya Pili-Pili (baked spicy chicken) together.

There are also various side dishes from the Congo and a delicious dessert.

As far as drinks are concerned, we travel to the African continent, there are beers from various African countries, soft drinks and South African wines.

What you’ll do in the class

The following applies to all my cooking classes: We cook, drink and enjoy together. Like in a good flat/family or circle of friends for an evening.

Who is the class suitable for?

Everyone who is in the mood for a cooking class and wants to try something completely new is welcome. It doesn't matter whether you are a beginner or someone with experience. The focus is on learning and having fun together.

I, Bijoux, grew up in Angola, Congo and later in Cologne, now in Berlin, learned to cook from my beloved grandma and would now like to make the diversity of African cuisine known beyond fufu and couscous.
