About this class
Experience the diverse flavors of Asia and discover how strong tastes, aromatic spices and fresh ingredients blend into unique vegetarian dishes. In our cooking class in Berlin, you will learn the basics of vegetarian Asian cuisine, try out exciting recipes from different countries on the continent and teach yourself new techniques for your own cooking.
Of course, we can't depict everything we love. That's why we're sharing our favorite recipes that have particularly delighted us over the years. You will learn how to combine vegetables and spices skillfully, get inspiration for authentic Asian flavors at home and also learn more about the culinary traditions that have shaped these dishes while cooking and enjoying them together.
The following dishes await you
- Starter: Thắng Nước Màu aubergine with savoy salad and pickled cucumber
- Main course: Black rice-walnut cake with plum teriyaki and mushrooms
- Dessert: gajar ka halvah, chai and poppy seeds
What you’ll do in the class
The course starts with a champagne reception and a small greeting from Bonvivant Cocktail Bistro star cuisine. You will then dive into creative vegetarian Asian cuisine together with our kitchen professionals.
You'll learn:
- Preparation techniques for fresh vegetables, rice, pasta and desserts
- Using authentic Asian spices and aromas
- Practical tips on flavor combinations, textures, and presentation
All participants work on the individual recipes in small groups before the menu is served and enjoyed together. Drinks are included, no one goes home hungry.
