Hi, I'm Katie!

I moved to Berlin 8 years ago from the US. I have found my home here in the art community where I have come to know so many wonderful people and learn so many things. I have always had a love for ceramics, ever since art school, but after I found screen printing, I was hooked. I came back to ceramics after I was able finally figure out how to combine the two mediums. Since this isn't a thing that is often done in Berlin, I had to do a lot of experimentation with different screen printing and ceramics ingredients to come up with just right combination for my inks. Now, I screen print for the ceramics I make & do custom orders.

We'll be doing this workshop at a cafe in Prenzlauer Berg called Curious Fabrications. They have a large table in the back of the main room where we will doing the workshop. You can also purchase a drink or snack while you decorate! My workshops have anywhere between 4-14 people.

For this workshop, we'll be using the screen prints that I have made with my designs in many different colors as well as underglaze that you can paint. I'll give you a handmade cup to decorate, and you can also purchase a second one if you'd like. My screen prints feature things inspired by the sky like birds, hot air balloons, and clouds, the land like dinosaurs, flowers, and cats, and the sea like narwhals and axolotl, and many more.

I do private events as well, so if you need something for your birthday party or team building event, I can accommodate large groups and also do custom screen prints such as company logos.
