About this class
Screen printing underglaze transfers for ceramics is a hands-on workshop in Berlin where I will teach you 3 different ways to decorate your ceramics using screen printing.
You will have a variety of designs to choose from. Each person will also receive a handmade ceramic cup that you can decorate with the transfers you made! I will have several colors of ink as well as underglaze for painting so you can add colorful accents to your cup. You will be able to take home all the extra transfers you made and pick up your glazed and fired cup within the week. All cups will be dishwasher and microwave safe.

What to bring to the class
You are welcome to bring your own bisque fired or greenware ceramics to decorate, but the firing of these objects are your responsibility. Please limit this to one piece.

What you’ll do in the class
First, you can choose which designs you would like to work with. I have several motifs including watermelons, dinosaurs, flowers, butterflies, bees, and more. Then, I will show you each of three ways that you can use the screens, which you can practice on a ceramic tile. After that, you can make as many transfers as you'd like and decorate your cup!
*Firing services are included, so I will take your cup back to my studio and glaze and fire it in my kiln. I will email you when it is ready to be picked up, which should be within the week!
