In general, we really liked the tour and the puzzles. The selection of the first two locations (French bar) and in particular the Fink Knödellokal was highly recommended. Here, our group of three was even offered a fourth position as booked. However, Braunauer Hof disappointed with the service. Although the food was of good quality, contrary to the booking, we were only offered a table together with other tour participants. In addition, the menu selection was limited due to sales and the staff was then unable to offer an additional alternative.
Overall, the price per person is quite high at 95€ if the menu offered across all locations can be added up to a maximum of 55€. 40€ p.p. for org. and puzzles I find sporty.
Overall, a nice event, perhaps a bit expensive, but recommended provided that the third location would also have met the booking in terms of placement and menu selection.

Full points for the event and locations. It was very varied and also very delicious.
One point deduction for the organization: Information did not arrive in advance or only arrived late on request, start was brought forward by 15 minutes,
1st location: Starter was served 5 minutes before the recommendation “Time to go”, resulting in a delay to location 2. That was when the aperitif was served.
But all in all, we had a very nice evening.

For 90€ per person, we would definitely have expected more professionalism in the puzzle and in the individual locations.
The taste of the food was ok, but nothing more; the main course was unfortunately lukewarm. The service in the 3 locations was from underground to satisfactory.
It definitely works better. We wouldn't do that again.

The dinner tour itself was really entertaining, and the selection of restaurants and food and drinks was excellent — kudos for that!
One point that surprised us: When booking, it was not apparent that the group was holding the event without the supervision of a course instructor. It would be helpful if this information was formulated more clearly in the online description.
The contact with 2CYOU was unfortunately a bit difficult:
Our inquiries about unequivocal questions about the first puzzle sent by email before the event remained unanswered.
It was only upon direct request that we were informed that the start of the tour also meant the latest arrival at the first location. Especially for a group of 20 people, an earlier notice would be useful in order to be able to organise taxis in good time, for example.
The menu requests for the main course were queried in advance, but the restaurant had to ask for them again.
While the initial contact with CONFETTI was very friendly and personal, we found the communication with 2CYOU to be rather impersonal and not customer-oriented.
The puzzle questions for the locations could also be sent out a little earlier. When we were in location 2 (the glasses were still full), we only received the questions about 20 minutes before the next change. That was a bit tight to solve the puzzle, complete the 25-minute walk and still arrive at the next restaurant on time.

Overall, the puzzle dinner was a very successful department trip, which was a lot of fun for everyone involved. The combination of exciting puzzles, lovingly selected locations, delicious food and a harmonious aperitif made the evening a special experience.
The wonderful ambiance of the locations and the high quality of the food are particularly positive — they worked here with great attention to detail. The puzzles were well thought out, varied and created an entertaining dynamic within the group.
Unfortunately, communication with the course instructor in advance was a small downside. Requests were only answered after repeated follow-up, and the feedback was rather unfriendly. Unfortunately, the lack of communication also led to delays at the event itself. As a result, there was a delay of around 20 minutes at the second location and around 40 minutes at the third location — due, among other things, to longer waiting times for the starter. Fortunately, the locations were very flexible, so these delays were no major problem.
Despite minor organizational stumbling blocks, it was an all-round lovely evening with many positive impressions. The special atmosphere, delicious food and creative puzzle making made the trip a real highlight.

We were invited to a puzzle dinner and unfortunately the food was very disappointing overall.
The drinks and aperitif were good, there was nothing to complain about here. But then came the starter: there was no choice, but simply a plate with various types of pickled vegetables. Many of them didn't taste good at all, so we probably left half a plate standing.
For the main course, you could choose six dishes. However, these were very small. The menu said that you could actually eat three dishes for two people because the portions were so small. When asked, however, it was said that the portions would be served slightly larger. In practice, however, that was hardly the case — whether salmon with cucumber salad or a potato nest, the quantities were tiny. When we checked again, we only got bread with two dips, which were unfortunately inedible, and pickled antipasti, which were completely oversalted and preserved for far too long.
The dessert deserves a positive mention, which was actually good and saved the evening a bit.
All in all, the food experience was unfortunately disappointing. For an event of this kind, I would have expected more quality and better coordination of the food.
Conclusion of the day
For 100 euros per person, it is unfortunately not worth getting so much money for so little.

The puzzles were provided punctually and easily, and the contact person was also quickly available. Unfortunately, we had hoped for a bit more when it came to choosing the puzzles, they were kept very simple.
I also find the price-performance ratio not so good, the meals alone are unfortunately well below the 95€ that dinner costs. In total, we could have received the food including an aperitif for around 60€. I personally find a lot of 35€ just for the puzzles, especially since, as I said, they were not very creative.
It's a shame, but it's still a lovely evening.

The locations were well chosen with very delicious food, the puzzles were easy to solve. However, we had expected that the aperitif would at least ask whether someone did not want to drink alcohol. The walking distances were longer than described (14 min), and therefore closely timed. Otherwise, it was a wonderful evening. A great experience, nice conversations, gladly again.

As an idea, you could also include additional puzzles at the last station, where you then either just “find out” something, or win a drink, etc., where the puzzles are actually more difficult!

It was a really great evening. The food was great and so were the selected restaurants. It would only have been nice at the last restaurant, it might have been a bit further away from the 2nd restaurant. Since the 2nd restaurant was on Münsterplatz and the 3rd too, i.e. even directly across the street. We would have walked another 10 minutes to the next one. But otherwise the tour was really cool and it was a successful evening.

Unfortunately we were really disappointed yesterday and I'm happy to share this feedback with you so that others don't feel the same way:
1st location = perfect, something special and a really lovely team, you feel welcome
2nd location = we would have expected something special and no dumplings but she was friendly and the restaurant certainly serves good food
3rd location = complete disappointment! A brewery restaurant serving schnitzel and Kaiserschmarren. Glaste expect something special at 109€ per person. The main course didn't knock us off our feet and Kaiserschmarren can always be eaten anywhere. We were not some of the guests who felt that way. At this point, the pasr at our table was already hanging heads down.
We don't want anything bad to anyone here, but I really have to say that at €100 per person, we feel completely unfairly treated with the offer that it was in the end.

The tour was very well organized, we had a lot of fun puzzling and even the service staff at the restaurants puzzled and cheered along. The tips were accurate to the minute, and the timing was also great. The food was great and we got to know great new restaurants. Some of the puzzles were not entirely correct, but we were able to figure out the solution that way and, in any case, there would have been a link with the solution. We couldn't find our booking in the 2nd restaurant, but the organizer was immediately available and had solved the small problem immediately.

The cocktail bar at Friesenstraße 49 was the highlight of the puzzle dinner tour which was supposed to take us through the “Belgian Quarter”, but unfortunately only ran up and down Friesenstraße once. After a delicious aperitif in this beautiful and well-managed location, we were sent to Friesenstraße 82 for a starter - the location, not small and fine, as announced in the tour description, but a huge event location - very impersonal - the starter tailored to this event rather 0815 rather than individually, as also announced in advance. Then on to the main course and dessert, back down Friesenstraße to house number 51, i.e. right next to the cocktail bar, No. 49.
From a culinary point of view, this was an absolute defeat. A restaurant was announced with a small, fine menu, from which you can choose from three dishes. We got a tapas bar where we couldn't vote, but were each served a plate full of tasteless tapas - almost exclusively meat. The dessert was as tasteless as it was bland that no further mention should be made of it here.
The idea of a puzzle dinner is really great and would have so much potential - but unfortunately the implementation here was not successful at all - culinary failure and nothing was seen of the city of Cologne (Friesenstraße, house number 49-82).
Unfortunately, you had the impression that someone here had put together an imaginative tour that only looked at the price.
Cologne has so much more to offer than that.
Unfortunately, this tour is not an advertisement for the city.

Basically, this is a really great idea and it was also a lot of fun.
However, we have a few points of improvement:
The puzzles should take up more time during the tour and not just be sent in the form of an email. We would have liked it better if they were presented in person at the respective location. It would also have more of a puzzle feeling if you have to go to one or the other question on site to guess the solution. For example, at a well to see a detail, etc.
Otherwise, as I said, it was a lot of fun and the locations, as well as the food and drinks, were delicious:)

Three points that can be improved.
- The starter was really delicious and well prepared, but far too much which is why we reduced the dessert to a small portion on site. Preferably smaller portions and lower prices for the experience.
- the information in the puzzle was not always correct. For example, after we resolved the location, it was the third letter of the word instead of the second as stated. If there is already a puzzle, then the information should be absolutely correct.
- It was a bit of a shame that all three restaurants in Heidelberg were pretty much on the same street and two were even right next to each other, so you can see a little bit of the city through this puzzle.

Overall rather disappointed. The first location didn't know what to do with us. The location and weather were very nice, but the long uncertainty as to whether you are welcome and which drinks you will get and when gave the impression considerably. The second location, on the other hand, was refreshing. We were expected and felt welcome. At the third location, similar to the first. After the third attempt, it was clear what we had booked. I had expected higher quality food at the price. In addition, the menu selection was very wintery (in summer) and not delicious.
