About this class

This wine seminar in Munich is aimed at everyone who wants to finally understand the world of wine. In a relaxed atmosphere, you will dive into the basics of winemaking and learn what is important when tasting. In this seminar for beginners, we discuss and experience the basics of wine in a relaxed atmosphere — from theory to practice, from production process to tasting. And from light white to heavy red. You will learn how wine is made, which grape varieties are typical and how aromas and quality can be identified.

Learn to identify the most important characteristics of quality wines through a professionally guided tasting of seven special wines. Together, we discuss exciting questions such as:

  • What is wine anyway? What is it made of and how is it made?
  • Which grape varieties are there and how do they end up in my glass?
  • What does high-quality wine taste like? And how do I describe what I taste?

Snacks and water accompany the tasting as you dive into the world of wine. This seminar not only offers you knowledge, but also enjoyment, exchange and lots of aha moments — perfect for anyone who wants to learn more about wine.

Hi, I'm Chris, founder and managing director of Rebensache. Wine should be fun — that is also what my events are about. Where a convivial evening starts, I like to be involved in a creative process. What remains after that are wonderful emotions and memories of pleasure.
