What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome and brief introductory round
- Introduction: What actually is wine? What is it made of and how is it made?
- Theoretical introduction: grape varieties, growing regions, production processes
- Practical part:
- Tasting of six carefully selected wines — from light white wine to strong red wine
- Start with a glass of sparkling wine
- Sensory training: What does high-quality wine taste like? How do I describe aromas and tastes?
- Open round of talks with space for questions and exchange on equal terms
- In between: water and snacks to accompany the tasting
- Objective: A profound insight into the wine world, combined with enjoyment and new insights for beginners
