Whether for a blog, a personal diary or an entire book — writing while traveling captures the impressions and observations you have collected in language, making them comprehensible for those who stayed at home. But how do you start?

In our “Creative Writing While Traveling” taster course, author Nadine Pungs shows you how to overcome your fear of blank pages, what you should pay attention to along the way and how to choose your topics.

After an introduction to the craft of writing, we sharpen our powers of observation in small exercises together, indoors and outdoors, train our writing muscles and learn to focus on the essentials. Nadine Pungs talks about her travels through the Middle East and shares tips and tricks on how notes, reminders and research become a book in the end.
