About this experience

For over 200 years, the most valuable object in the city of Regensburg has been considered lost — until now. A mysterious box with yellowed notes, old drawings and mysterious clues has appeared. Everything points to the fact that a witty figure from the city's history hid the treasure in a secret location in the middle of the old town and left the notes as encrypted clues. This is where you come in: Your task is to decipher the puzzles and find the treasure trove of millions. Are you ready to take on the challenge?

The exciting treasure hunt takes you along historic buildings, narrow alleys and right past the most interesting places in the city — but also along hidden trails far away from the usual tourist routes. Along the way, highlights such as the surprising history of Regensburg Cathedral, hidden clues about the historic town hall and a finale with a view of the city's impressive skyline await you. At each station, there is a puzzle that can only be solved on site: Read clues, recognize connections and work out the next step together.

We developed this tour completely ourselves: We traveled the route, chose the locations, wrote the story and designed the puzzles right on site — tailored exactly to what you actually see there. No AI, no generic template. Each of our tours is created this way, and it shows.

In between, you'll learn things about Regensburg that no travel guide tells — from scandalous fun facts about Napoleon to the question of where the smiley was actually invented. The puzzles are perfectly balanced: tricky enough for escape room fans, accessible enough for anyone who would otherwise never touch a puzzle. Logic, intuition, powers of observation — every person has something that can be decisive.

You can play the tour solo, as a couple, as a group or in competition mode against each other. The start is right on Neupfarrplatz, easily accessible by public transport. The route ends at a central square — ideal for ending the evening in one of the surrounding restaurants.

Note: The framework story surrounding the specific treasure trove of millions is fictitious — but the historical anecdotes, the largest inhabited castle and the historic places in Regensburg are absolutely real.
