About this experience
Carnival is just around the corner — but Cologne has a massive problem: The city key to the town hall has disappeared! Without this key, which the Lord Mayor traditionally hands over to the triumvirate, the fools cannot take power. Now it's up to your team: Embark on a foolish detective mission and find the valuable piece before the fifth season falls into the water!
Your search for clues will take you across Cologne's old town. From mysterious fountains to Cologne originals to places where history, humor and carnival meet — you'll discover the cathedral city in a completely new way. Along the way, you'll virtually meet Tünnes & Schäl, brownies and fools. To solve the tricky puzzles, you must combine as a team, think logically and carefully scan your environment.
This experience is specifically designed for corporate teams. On request, we can integrate your very individual questions about the company or colleagues directly into the storyline. We will also customize the app with your company logo and corporate colors. In the integrated competition mode, you can split up and cheer on which team determines the fastest via live team tracking — this provides the ultimate motivation boost.

Your mission starts centrally on historic Gürzenich on Martinstraße. After about two hours full of puzzles and city history, you'll reach your destination: the Petrus Fountain on the south side of the imposing Cologne Cathedral. This perfectly connected end point offers you countless opportunities to round off the event with a cool Kölsch or a meal together in the old town.
How does this experience take place?
After booking, you will receive all login details and information easily via email. On the selected match day, you will meet at the starting point at Gürzenich. There is no fixed date — you are absolutely flexible and start when the team is ready.
On site, you divide yourself into small groups, call up the link on your smartphones and off you go. There is no need to download an app. When you use competition mode, you compete directly against each other thanks to live tracking.
The interactive web app will then guide you from station to station through Cologne's old town for about 2 hours. You solve challenges together, collect points and learn exciting facts. The game ends at Cologne Cathedral. Here you can compare the high scores and choose the winning team. Should the weather in Cologne thwart your plans: No problem, the event can be postponed free of charge at any time if it rains.
