About this class

In this 5-part course in Karlsruhe, you will learn the TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) self-help method — a simple yet profound practice to reduce stress, release physical tension and regulate your nervous system.

Through targeted, gentle movements, you activate your body's natural ability to unload and regenerate itself. So-called neurogenic trembling can help you release stored tension, ground yourself and find inner peace.

A course like a small retreat — right in the middle of everyday life, but with the power of real regeneration.

What you’ll do in the class

Each unit starts with a brief theoretical impulse: Barbara explains the background of the TRE method and shares current findings from stress research. Then practice seven simple body movements that can stimulate natural shaking.

The practice is carefully guided — you decide for yourself how far you go and what feels right. The following applies: a maximum of around 70% of your potential load, because fine self-perception is part of the process.

Finally, there is time to find out and — if you like — for a loving exchange over a cup of tea in the cozy atmosphere of the be yogi Campus, surrounded by quiet Hardtwald.

Who is the class suitable for?

For anyone who wants to understand and regulate their nervous system better — regardless of whether you already have yoga or relaxation experience or are simply looking for new ways to reduce stress. TRE is particularly helpful for people who suffer from inner restlessness, tension or exhaustion and want to learn to develop strength and serenity from within themselves.

In a small group with a maximum of eight participants, you will be given space for individual support and practice in a safe, mindful setting.

What to bring to the class

Please wear comfortable yoga/ sports clothes. If you want, you can bring your own mat, towel, or drink. Otherwise, on the be yogi Campus, you will find everything you need for your practice.
