About this class

When the scent of sage in butter rises and freshly formed casoncei land on the table, you feel like you're in a trattoria on the shores of Lake Garda. In this compact pasta workshop, we discover the culinary diversity between mountain air and lakeside — a culinary region known for its creative pasta traditions.

Together, we will prepare three typical pasta classics that you won't find on every corner — but bring all the more heart and taste:

Casoncei bresciani — crescent-shaped, with rustic filling of bread, cheese & herbs

Strangolapreti — fluffy gnocchi made from spinach and stale bread, a specialty from Trentino

Tortelli Mantovani — sweet and spicy filled with pumpkin, amaretti & mostarda, a real holiday dish from Mantua

We start the course in style with a glass of prosecco & small snacks — and then dive into the world of handmade pasta. You will learn how to make creative regional delicacies from the simplest ingredients, how to prepare typical fillings and how to shape the pasta correctly — all in just 2.5 hours and with lots of amore.
