Your smartphone may take technically flawless pictures, but do they lack that certain something, an expressive style and their own signature to leave a lasting impression? Using practical tasks, would you like to practice what it takes to make narratively complex and visually complex images? You want to get a taste of different photographic genres, learn creative techniques to develop spontaneous image ideas that also work in everyday life and do not require unusual motifs to be exciting and aesthetic. Would you like to sharpen your analytical vision so that you can better evaluate and optimize your own images?
Then try out short, guided practical exercises and then present and analyze your own pictures in detailed photo reviews. And you'll find that taking pictures with artistic inspiration doesn't require technical perfectionism, but the courage to experiment.

1st day, Friday: 18:00 - 21:00
2nd day, Saturday: 10:00 - 15:00
Details to remember
What to bring?
Please bring three printed pictures in DIN A4 to the first session:
1. A photo that you have taken yourself, that you like and whose style you would like to continue in the workshop.
2. A photo that you took yourself but thought was a failure in terms of design.
3. A photo of a photographer that you think is particularly interesting in terms of style and aesthetics.
Please bring your fully charged smartphone. This should be an Apple or Android smartphone, have access to an app store and not be older than five years old.
Optional: charging cable with charger, power bank, accessories such as mini tripods or attachment lenses, but is not a must. Feel free to bring yourself drinks and snacks.
