Discover the world of photography and learn how to create impressive pictures yourself! In our practical photo course for beginners in Berlin, you will learn everything you need to know about operating your camera, the various camera programs and the basics of lighting.
What can you expect in our photo course
The photo course is structured in a practical way. After the theoretical introduction, you can apply and try out what you have learned directly with your own camera. The focus is clearly on practice!
You will learn how to take blur-free and well-exposed images, separate the foreground from the background, sharply freeze movements and focus on specific areas of the image.
Forget about full automation and learn how to use your camera to take exactly the photos you want.
For each topic, you will receive a practical accompanying card, which gives you a quick overview of the most important camera settings even after the course. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive training booklet in which all topics are explained in detail once again.
Where does the course take place
The course takes place in our studio in Berlin and outdoors so you can practice under real conditions. You will find ideal conditions to be able to carry out all exercises with your camera. Our studio is located right by the water, so we can record various landscapes or even a waterfall.
How does this activity work?
1. Theoretical basics: At the beginning of the course, we will teach you the most important theoretical basics. You'll get to know the various icons, switches, and buttons on your camera. We will explain to you what aperture, ISO value and shutter speed are and how to optimally adjust these parameters.
2. Practice-oriented exercises: We immediately put what we have learned into practice. You will learn how to shoot without blurring and how to focus correctly. We'll show you techniques for selective depth of field so that you can focus or blur specific areas in the image.
3. Camera settings for different situations: You will find out which camera settings you should use for different shooting situations, such as landscape, architecture, movement, sports and animal, people/portrait photography. We'll explain why some of your images are under or over exposed and why they sometimes display incorrect colors.
4. Image design: Finally, we'll discuss techniques to make your pictures more exciting. You'll learn how to take impressive photos through composition, perspective and lighting.
