Every piece of old furniture has potential! After this workshop, you'll also know how to get it out!
What can you expect at the DIY workshop in Velbert?
- Types of wood and veneers
- Abrasive material and grits
- tools and machines
- surface preparation (sanding, puttying, watering)
- Wood staining and staining techniques
- surface finishing (oil, wax, hard wax oil, varnish)
- easy retouching
- A brief study of lacquers and colors.
The participants try out all products, tools and techniques on exercise boards and then design their work piece, a mini drawer chest, according to their own ideas.
There will be a total of 6 participants, which ensures personal and individual support.
*If the number of participants is too low, I reserve the right to postpone the workshop. Alternatively, the money will be refunded.
