About this experience
Rutger Babylon is so close to the finish that there is no more time to waste. The megalomaniac inventor is about to complete his time travel machine — and he is clearly up to no good with it. Private investigator Sigbert Dümpel is overwhelmed by the case and turns to you: Find the last missing piece of the machine before it is too late. You take on the role of real investigators — and make Berlin Mitte your playing field.
The mission takes you from Gendarmenmarkt via Museum Island and Alexanderplatz to the television tower — through the heart of the capital, past places that everyone knows and yet hardly anyone has really seen. Along the way, the case shows you another side of the city: Did you know that doner kebab was invented in Berlin? What is it about the legendary Spätis? And why is the television tower exactly as high as it is? Berlin explains itself here — but much better than any city tour.
We developed this tour ourselves: We traveled the route, chose the locations, wrote the story and designed the puzzles directly on site — tailored to what you really see, find and experience there. No AI, no generic template. Each of our tours is created this way, and it shows.
The puzzles are as diverse as the places where they are waiting: sometimes you need a keen eye, sometimes logic, sometimes the right sense of a connection that you only understand in a second moment. Tricky enough for escape room fans, accessible enough for anyone who would otherwise never touch a puzzle. Each person in the group brings something that makes a difference somewhere.
The start is at Gendarmenmarkt, easily accessible by U2, U5 or U6 — just a few minutes' walk from Unter den Linden, Hausvogteiplatz or Stadtmitte stations. The mission ends at Alexanderplatz, in the middle of the city. From there, bars, restaurants and the next evening are just steps away.

How does this experience take place?
After purchase, you will immediately receive your login details — no download, no waiting time. You start when you want: The tour is available at any time, no fixed date required.
At Gendarmenmarkt, you open the web app, read Sigbert Dümpel's first clue — and the hunt begins. The app guides you from station to station through Berlin Mitte: solve puzzles, recognize connections, unlock the next task. You set the pace yourself.
The tour can be played solo, as a couple or in a group. If you like it more exciting, you can compete against each other in competition mode — several teams start at the same time, the app tracks points and progress in real time. The tour usually takes 2 to 3 hours, depending on the pace and how much you want to discover along the way.
At the destination, Alexanderplatz, the mission ends — with the result directly in the app. In case of bad weather, the appointment can be rescheduled free of charge, at no additional charge.
Who is it suitable for
This tour is for everyone who wants to experience Berlin with different eyes — whether in the city for the first time or at home for years. Ideal for groups of friends, families, couples or anyone who is simply looking for something other than a stroll through the city. Just as playable solo.
No previous knowledge, no sporting requirements. The puzzles address various strengths — a sense of language, logic, powers of observation, local knowledge — so that everyone in each group has their moment. Also suitable for children and young people, when someone from the group helps with reading and puzzling.
