Class description
Do you know the difference between Pizza Neapoletana, Pizza Romana, Pizza Carnevale or Pizza Ripiena?
In this pizza course, we learn how to bake the various pizza delights perfectly at home. Because not all pizza is the same. Neapoletana impresses with its deliciously airy light edge, pizza romana is extra thin and crispy, pizza carnevale is star-shaped and ripiena is the filled version.
We show different dough flows at room temperature and in the refrigerator and use different Italian pizza flours. Together we practice la stesura della pizza — the clever removal of the pizza dough — and we learn which pizza variants are perfect in the household oven at 200°C - 250°C and what to pay particular attention to.
In addition, we will be showing the use of affordable mobile pizza ovens, which make it possible to pull an original Neapolitan pizza out of the oven in around 60 seconds. Of course, the perfect pizza topping is also not neglected. We explain how to make the perfect tomato sauce and what to look for when it comes to mozzarella and other ingredients.
