The secret of a really good apple strudel lies in preparing the dough and choosing the apples for the filling. We fill the strudel with delicious rare apple varieties, which are delivered exclusively to Vienna for these workshops by the pioneering Styrian project “eva & Adam”. If you want to learn how strudel doughs are made and how easy it is to pull them out so thin that you can read the newspaper underneath, this apple strudel workshop is the right place for you. We give the best tips for removing the dough, explain which flours are really suitable and show what tricks there are so that the dough does not crack when pulled out and the apple strudel is perfect. We promise that removing strudel dough isn't rocket science, it's much easier than you think.
The strudel dough learned in the course can of course be filled in a variety of ways and tastes just as tasty as curd or millicream strudel as as a spicy cabbage or pumpkin strudel.
