Wild meadows - a natural connection for young and old

Hey! I am Melanie. Mother of 4 children and passionate wilderness educator with a passion for all kinds of creative projects.

I have worked with children and adults in and with nature for many years. My mission is to create spaces in which children and those who are young at heart can truly experience again: with their hands, with all their senses, with time and depth.
My passion for wilderness education grew out of my own everyday family life. As a mother of four children, I have experienced the power of nature when it is experienced rather than explained. This is where my offers came about: creative, wild, calm and always with respect for children and nature.

I combine elements of wilderness and nature education, creative design and mindful support. My courses are not a classic animation program, but real experiences that give children self-efficacy, imagination and connection.

Close to nature, personal and easily accessible

My courses take place in Muldenstein in a natural garden. The location includes a small, comfortably furnished wooden house, a half-open porch and an adjacent small piece of forest.
The surrounding area is quiet, green and deliberately manageable. Depending on the offer, we work outside, in the forest or sheltered under the arbor.

The location is about five minutes on foot from Muldenstein train station and is easily accessible by train. I am happy to pick up groups there. The joint journey through the forest is often already part of the experience. Alternatively, the train station serves as a starting point for outdoor activities.

Depending on the format, I can easily accommodate groups of around 4 to 12 people.

What makes my offers special

My courses depend on real participation, action and shared experience. Children and adults are invited to become active themselves.

Children design with natural materials, build huts, read tracks, learn how to handle fire carefully or dive into a new perception of the forest at dusk and night. The offers are age-appropriate, structured and yet open enough for every child to have their own access.

Adults often experience something with me that is lost in everyday life: deceleration, clarity, creative peace and the feeling of really being outside again.
