I am
an artist as well as an art therapist. Professionally, I have been working as an art therapist with autistic adults for 2 years. I also paint myself and give painting courses or even full-day workshops with a colleague on various focal areas.
I've been interested in art for a very long time. I can't even say it exactly. I started working with acrylic and other materials about 25 years ago. Where work might be the wrong word. For me, it is a situation that has nothing to do with everyday life. A kind of weightlessness when diving into this inner space, an echo chamber of feelings, moods and ideas. This state is constantly changing on its own and I try to follow it and to painterly approach what is in this room. I would like to teach you this situation in my courses. It is a big playground where you can try yourself out, experiment and inspire each other.
Location:
The courses take place at my place, in a beautiful old apartment. In two rooms that merge into each other, I offer my weekly “Simple Painting” course for 4-7 people on an area of approx. 32 square meters. There is a long table where 3-4 people can work, a small one for one person and two easels.
I offer:
materials such as acrylic and watercolors, oil and pastel crayons, pencils, fineliners, canvases, paper pads, brushes, rollers, spatulas, sponges, fabrics, leather, plaster, cement, marble powder and polymer clay. And a corresponding number of techniques such as monotype, acrylic painting, spatula technique, gel print, collage, etc.
What makes my courses stand out: the
joy of experimentation, imperfect, intuitive creativity. In a small group, I can of course respond much more to the participants and we are more refined in our mutual perception. I experience a more intensive exchange than in a larger group, which often results in fruitful impulses and ideas.
