Hanok is a great artist, with so much heart and passion for what he does. The workshop was so inspiring, fun and interesting. A good course for trying out techniques. Unfortunately, there is no canvas, only reinforced cardboard measuring approx. 40 x 40 cm. A bigger screen would definitely have added value to the course.

Get to know Henok Space

Nach meinem Abschluss half ich 2009, zusammen mit 10 anderen äthiopischen Künstlern ein einzigartiges Künstlerkollektiv in Äthiopien namens Netsa Art Village zu gründen, ein Künstlerkollektiv, das sich der Präsentation experimenteller Kunstwerke verschrieben hat und die Gemeinschaft mit der lokalen und internationalen Kunstpraxis in Kontakt bringt. Ich habe meine Kunstwerke ausgestellt und bin an verschiedenen internationalen Orten aufgetreten, darunter Hamburger Bahnhof, Museum für Moderne Kunst, Deutsches Kulturinstitut Addis Abeba, Berlin Kühl Hause, Asni Gallery, Alliance Ethio-Française, Leipzig International Art Residency Program (LIAP), British Council Dare Salaam, Kunsthall Oslo usw... Gleichzeitig habe ich an verschiedenen Kunstworkshops, Kunstresidenzen und Kunstfestivals auf internationaler Ebene teilgenommen. Seit 2017 lebe ich in Berlin, Deutschland, experimentiere und entwickle meine Arbeiten weiterhin in meinem Studio.
