Get to know Atelier Stefani
I am Stefanie, creative director and founder of Atelier Stefani — a brand that stands for traditional craftsmanship and modern design. I make shoes, bags and other leather products that are inspired by the identity of customers and are individually handmade. Each individual piece represents a piece of wearable art that stands for much more than just an accessory. Behind this is a sense of curiosity, creativity and self-expression. Fashion and style go far beyond a piece of fabric and my mission is to encourage people to find their own expression - with pieces that strengthen self-worth and last a long time.
I found my love for shoemaking through detours. With two degrees in economics and entrepreneurship, I worked for many years in various creative industries — from fashion to music to film. My trip also went through several countries and I lived in Australia for 10 years. When I started working for one of the last fashion shoe makers in Sydney, I immediately realized that I had found my passion.
Location:
My studio in Berlin-Schöneberg invites you to get creative and can accommodate up to 8 people. Between hundreds of strips, selected leathers, tools and machines, the space is created in which ideas take shape.
Workshops:
Our workshops open up the dialogue between people and creation. Each design, whether card holder, bag or belt, is curated in such a way that no previous knowledge is required on the part of the participants.
We work with limited, sustainably produced leathers from Italy and high-quality metal parts (such as rivets, buckles, fasteners). Under professional guidance, you choose the colors of the materials, learn how to cut, sew, edge finish, set hardware and personalize your piece with embossing, details and embellishments.
At the end of the workshop, you will go home with a unique piece that bears your fingerprint.
Make. Sip Play The best experiences are the ones you share with friends: enjoy a glass of wine in good company, dive into the world of craftsmanship and learn new skills. Private group and team events are available on request — ideal for creating something special together.
