About this class
In this wild herb course in Brandenburg, you will learn how to safely identify, collect and process edible wild plants and medicinal plants. Together, you will discover the pantry of forest and meadow and gain in-depth knowledge that you can apply directly in everyday life or in nature.
During an intensive day course in the countryside, you will identify plants, test their edibility and learn more about their healing properties. You process the collected herbs directly — into delicious dishes, tinctures, extracts, ointments or natural household products. The focus is on hands-on learning: collect it yourself, prepare it yourself, produce it yourself.
The course takes place on a former farm in Walchow near Fehrbellin and combines experience of nature with specific plant knowledge suitable for everyday use.

Introduction to edible wild plants and medicinal herbs
Herb walk in the area
Find, identify and reliably distinguish plants
Dealing with plant identification books
Collecting selected wild plants
Preparation of a joint lunch from the plants found
Preparation of tinctures, extracts or ointments
Basics for the conservation and use of medicinal plants
Recipes and instructions for home
Total duration: approx. 7.5 hours
Maximum number of participants: 12 people
