Dive into the world of rum, experience an extraordinary and extravagant selection of spirits and sensitize and sharpen your senses as part of the blind tasting of 12 high-quality and unique types of rum, which is a mixture of currently popular varieties, classics and exotics.
What to expect when tasting through the world of rum at Potsdamer Platz
Learn many interesting details about the history, varieties, production, blending, storage and ingredients of the popular sugar cane distillate. Following the pure rum tasting, you will learn how to prepare 6 different rum cocktails, two long drinks and a shot how you too will soon be able to mix a Mai Tai yourself, which by the way means: Mai Tai — “Not from this World — The Best”.
Before preparing cocktails, you will learn how to handle a shaker, bottles and other bar equipment as well as how to pour certain liquids in the appropriate quantities by hand.
