About this class

You don't have to be able to draw. You don't need any previous experience.
In this workshop, you create your own stencil graffiti — step by step.

In around 3 hours, you will create a 50 × 50 cm piece of art on branded stretcher frames on your own easel. No long blocks of theory — we start directly into practice.

You will work with prepared stencils, learn how to use spray technology and build up your motif in three levels: background, effects and a multi-colored main motif. I will guide you individually with specific tips on color selection, image effect and composition.

In the end, you take your finished work of art straight home.

The course takes place at Künstlerhof, Steinstraße 58 in Cologne-Porz.

• Working with water-based acrylic spray paint (low odour) • Construction in several layers of images

What to bring to the class

Please wear clothes that can get color off if necessary (aprons, shoe covers and gloves are available on site). You can also discreetly change clothes on site, if necessary.

The course instructor was very nice and explained the course procedure and the various techniques to us in an understandable way at the beginning. After that, we were able to get started ourselves. The materials were more than enough — lots of spray cans and a wide range of colors. I never had to wait for a color once. The templates were clearly sorted into categories so that you could quickly find the right one. Drinks could also be purchased conveniently on site. The three hours flew by! I can 100% recommend the street art graffiti course and will definitely be back.
