About this Tour

Munich has many culinary secrets — and you'll discover them on your puzzle dinner tour! But it's not just an aperitif and a delicious 3-course dinner in three trendy top locations. Getting there is just as exciting as the food itself!

Small, sophisticated puzzles await you between the courses. Every question you answer brings you one step closer to the next location. Each correct answer gives you a solution letter. If you put all the letters together, you get the answer — and this will tell you the name of the next restaurant where the next culinary treat is waiting for you!

Riddle your way around Munich and enjoy an evening full of surprises, enjoyment and adventure. “Taste Munich” is no ordinary dinner — it is an interactive experience that takes you to real secret tips about the city in a fun way.

Please note: You must always book at least 2 people for the tour to take place. Otherwise, the ticket will be canceled.

Steps of the tour

The special thing about our dinner tours: Each one is unique. All top locations are constantly being recombined to offer our guests an exceptional evening. In Munich, for example, we surprise our guests with Süssmund, Das Maria, Le Berlue or trendy secret tips.

1st aperitif: surprise location 1
- You start your puzzle tour at 6:15 p.m. In location 1, you will be greeted at the bar, where a wonderful aperitif awaits you. The ideal start to a successful evening. At around 6:40pm, you will receive information about the second surprise location by email. There's a delicious starter for you from 7:15 p.m. But you don't have to stress yourself. All stations can be easily reached on foot within 5-10 minutes.
2nd starter: surprise location 2
- We continue in location 2 with a delicious starter. This was created exclusively for our tour guests. This makes your second course an individual pleasure experience. At around 7:50pm, you will receive all information about the third surprise location, where a delicious main course and a delicious dessert will be waiting for you from 8:15pm.
3rd main course & dessert: surprise location 3
- You can choose your main course in Location 3 from a small fine menu. Culinary variety is therefore guaranteed, including the right ambiance. While you relax and enjoy your main course, your dessert is already being created with love in the kitchen. So you can end your evening in a very enjoyable way. Your tour officially ends around 22:45.

For all night owls...

... for those who want to experience something else afterwards, the city has plenty of cool bars to offer. Of course, you will receive a surprising secret tip from us.

Who should take part in this tour?

The puzzle dinner tour is perfect for anyone who likes to enjoy, puzzle and discover the city in a completely new way!

Together, you will visit various restaurants in Munich city center. The locations will all have a pleasant atmosphere where you can enjoy a delicious meal. You will be notified of the start location in advance by email. Please book the event with an email address that you can access during the event.

What to bring to the tour?

You don't have to bring anything except clothing suitable for the weather and your smartphone, as you will receive emails with the next location over the course of the evening.

What is included in this tour?

A delicious 3-course dinner in three different locations, as well as a delicious aperitif to start with. You only have to pay for the drinks yourself after the 2nd location.

Hello. We had technical problems at first. I had not been able to receive the messages that I should have received in the previous week. We didn't get the first clue either and then I called Mr. Mark.Podschadly to tell him that we had not received any advice so far. He then reacted very indiscriminately and asked why we didn't get back to you until so late (18:23) We had been waiting for a message the whole time. He then gave us the first tip himself without a puzzle. We then went to the bar and found it very nice. Then the system worked and we got the hint for the second location. We were also able to puzzle. It was a great experience. The second restaurant was also a great location. Then came the clue with the third puzzle and we received this as well as a puzzle. However, we were then a bit surprised about the location. Schnitzel at Braunauer Hof? After we had a cool bar, a very delicious starter and then this not-so-stylish location? Here we would recommend staying in the same line and choosing an equally cool place. It was actually a pity for us that Mr. Bodschadly blamed us for not having received the information. That really annoyed us at first and was a great shame for our evening, which we were really looking forward to and had paid a lot of money. Here I would have wished that if you're already complaining that I didn't answer the last three messages in the previous week, just pick up the phone and call and ask what's wrong, please. They had received the money. They knew we wanted to do the tour and then they wondered why I wasn't answering. I had answered constantly before.

From a super sweet bar to traditional Bavarian dessert, everything was included. The puzzles were easy to solve (with a little help from Google) and made the evening super easy. The food (and especially the respective service staff) were great!

The tour with the choice of location was great and we all had fun. But it was a pity that some questions had been repeated - something was happening. The distances between the locations were also great in themselves.

The route was okay, the locations were very good, the selection of food and drinks partly, cocktails rather too few choices, starter NO selection, main course + dessert good. The puzzles were very FC Bayern heavy, which is rather disappointing for a city like Munich, which definitely has more top sports clubs than just FC Bayern (basketball, ice hockey, etc.) The puzzles themselves were too simple and then again partly incorrect in their question. We were 6 work colleagues and it was a birthday present, it was a nice evening all round, which was a great early summer evening in Munich and a nice group of friends. None of us would book this tour again, we were all not sure whether it would always be the same locations - then it would be boring.

A fun experience, but a bit puzzling. Some of the questions are very easy for Munich residents to solve. Organization was easy and uncomplicated. The food was delicious, but the quantities were not very well coordinated.

We really enjoyed the course. A star deduction due to the organization.. the first location was moved and we were not informed. We were in the “wrong” one and were only informed about it on site. The selected location was great, nice people and delicious food. It was a great experience.

It was well organized and the restaurants were very well selected. They felt very comfortable in every restaurant and the search for the next restaurant was very pleasant for us as we got some fresh air in between and were looking forward to the next destination that we didn't know before. The puzzles were a bit difficult for us to solve but Google helped us a lot 😄🙈 Food was delicious and we were fed up with “bab” 😀🤣 Can be recommended to all ages! Anytime again!!
