Who doesn't love them? Whether for breakfast, grilling, au gratin or cheese fondue. Baguette is delicious, versatile and enhances many dishes. Crispy on the outside, airy on the inside and delicious overall. But good things take a while until the baguettes are ready, it takes up to three days.
In this baking class, you will learn how to make delicious baguettes step by step. From dough to “stick cooking” with drawing and folding and shaping to baking, you'll learn everything. By the way: The baguettes can be made vegan or with a little butter in the dough.
You can also prepare a delicious salmon cream to go with the baguettes while resting the dough.
How does this activity work?
On the course date, we will meet via video conference and I will explain to you in detail how you can make delicious baguettes. In doing so, you'll learn how to:
This baking course is divided into three parts. The day before the first part of the workshop, you will make the starter dough yourself using the exact recipe. In the workshop, we will prepare the dough together on the first day. On the second day, we form the baguettes and bake them until crispy and golden brown.

The course is suitable for anyone who is interested in baking and would like to do it from home. It doesn't matter whether you already have baking experience or would like to gain your first experience with me.

What to bring?
You get the ingredients and utensils on the shopping list that you don't already have. You should also weigh up all ingredients and prepare the utensils before the course.
The most important utensils that we need:
- oven with baking tray, baking paper
- Optionally a rectangular pizza stone
- Optionally, a thin board 5 — 10 cm x 50 cm or tilted planks
- Baker's linen or clean tea towel
- refrigerator with space for a dough bowl
- Normal kitchen utensils such as spoons, knives, bowls, cutting boards, scales...
- An internet-enabled device with a camera and a large enough screen so that you can easily follow my work steps

What is included?
One week before the course starts, you will receive an email with the recipe with detailed instructions, a shopping list for the ingredients and a list of all necessary kitchen appliances that we need. We then meet online and have a lot of fun baking. I will guide you through the course and give tips and tricks from a professional. Of course, I would also be happy to answer any of your questions.
