About this class
In this course, we focus on the basics of still life painting — step by step and with plenty of room to try out. The course is particularly aimed at beginners or slightly advanced students. The aim is not to create a photorealistic image, but a conscious use of form and color — and a sense of how one's own style is created and can be developed in a targeted manner. Each unit begins with a brief theoretical impulse on topics such as light/shadow, forms, compositions, etc., and culminates in practical work — from studying simple forms in sketches to working on a composition together to final painting. A course for anyone who wants to consolidate the basics and at the same time find an individual approach to painting.

What you’ll do in the class
We will get closer to a finished still life within 6 dates.
In doing so, we learn basic knowledge about 1st form/2nd composition/3. light & shadow/4th color - we work 2 hours each -
