About this class

About this course

In the casting workshop with bubble technology in Hamburg-Lokstedt, you dive deeper into creative design with Keraflott. After an introduction to materials, mixing ratios and color effects, you will learn about the special bubble technique, which creates unique structures and vivid effects.

You design a coordinated tray and a matching candle holder in your desired colors — calm, minimal or with an expressive structure. In a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere, your personal design piece is created with an individual signature.

What you’ll do in the class

Arrive & exhale

You arrive at our shop studio in Hamburg-Lokstedt and take a deep breath. A welcome drink awaits you — either prosecco, water or juice. In a calm atmosphere, we start with a short introduction to the process and technology.

Introduction to Material & Bubble Technique

You will learn about Keraflott as a versatile casting material: its properties, the right mixing ratio and the basics for a clean result. I will then show you the bubble technique step by step and explain how to create specific structures and special effects.

Design & cast

Now the creative part starts. You mix your material yourself, color it according to your ideas and consciously use the bubble technique to create your own design tray and a matching candle holder. I will guide you individually at every stage of the work.

Curing & short break

As your workpieces harden, there is a moment to breathe deeply. Enjoy your drink, exchange ideas or let the creative atmosphere sink in.

Demoulding & fine grinding

Finally, we unmold your pieces and put the finishing touches on them. Edges are smoothed out, surfaces are refined — until your objects get their clear, special appearance.

You go home with two unique pieces you have designed, coordinated with each other — and with the knowledge of how to use bubble technology safely and creatively.
