Class description

A rhythm session for parents and children to musically and playfully promote rhythm coordination and the joy of celebrating together with homemade music.

A drum party for parents and children with a homemade rhythm.

Under experienced guidance, young and old are drummed, rattled, danced and sung so that no one has a chance to escape the party mood.

There is no minimum age and no requirements, no right or wrong.

The focus is on having fun with rhythm!

Concept: The easiest way for children to learn is through observation and imitation. This learning strategy is used in parent-child sessions, where the musical focus is more on parents and older children. If parents actively participate and dedicate themselves to the joint music session, the younger children automatically learn how to make music together without having to explain it to them. In addition, the children are free to play during the session. There is therefore no minimum age for the session — young and old alike take away from the festive atmosphere what can be recorded. Children See more about the concept below.

Objective: It should enable parents and children to celebrate together with simple home-made dance music. In addition, creativity and rhythm coordination are promoted musically and playfully.

Duration: 45-60 minutes

How does this activity work?

After a brief presentation of all instruments, a simple rhythm is played with the participants. Small rhythm games such as stops, starts, etc. are then integrated. In the middle of the drum orchestra, the dance floor is opened after a few minutes, rattling and clapping. By singing simple songs and integrating a simple mini choreography, the festive atmosphere usually comes to a climax.

There is always a short relaxation session at the end.

Who should definitely take part?

There is no minimum age and no requirements, no right or wrong.
