About this class
We Will Cook: Scacce Ragusane paired with Pastiere di Carne & Tomasini di Ricotta
“Scacce”, the Sicilian for “Focacce” is a typical baked product of the province of Ragusa and a dish of the popular gastronomic tradition.
It consists of a focaccia with different types of toppings placed between two or more layers of bread-like dough. The scaccia is consumed mainly during the Christmas period, while the breaded, which has a round shape, is consumed during the Easter period.
Pasttiere di Carne and Tomasini di Ricotta will be offered in this class because they are the most iconic representation of typical backed products of Scicli and Modica.

With a duration ranging from 3 to 4 hours, participants are immersed in the culinary traditions of Sicily.
We provide all the essentials, ensuring a seamless experience, complete with a welcome drink, UNLIMITED Sicilian red and white wine, shots, and water throughout the class.
At the end of the class each participant will receive a recipe booklet complete with all the information given during the class.
