Techno Painting is a creative art project that creates a connection between techno music and painting. Our mission is to inspire you through the power of music and art and provide you with a unique creative experience. Through a unique combination of music, colors and movement, we create an inspiring atmosphere in which every participant can find their own artistic expression.
Techno painting is firmly rooted in Berlin's vibrant art scene and specializes in creating abstract paintings that capture the energy, rhythm, and mood of techno music. Founder Dina Shneider was inspired by her enthusiasm for Berlin's nightlife and the underground techno scene and has incorporated these influences into her art.
Techno painting — What does the location look like?
The techno painting location is located in Berlin-Mitte and offers an inviting and cozy studio for our workshops. As soon as you enter the premises, you will be greeted by an inspiring atmosphere.
Our studio is furnished with great attention to detail and offers the perfect space to let your creativity run wild. The walls are decorated with abstract works of art that give a foretaste of what you can create during the workshop.
Where does Techno Painting's expertise come from?
Techno Painting's expertise is based on founder Dina Shneider's many years of experience and passion. She was born into a family interested in art and culture, in which both parents were classical musicians. She began her artistic and musical development at the tender age of four.
Through her deep connection with Berlin's underground techno scene and her intensive clubbing experiences, Dina Shneider found her greatest inspiration. She decided to share these experiences with others and translate them into abstract painting. This unique combination of music and painting has made Techno Painting a pioneer in the art scene.
What makes Techno Painting events special?
Techno painting is about making a subjective experience visually tangible so that you can connect with it and feel your inner world. The process of translating techno sound into visual works of art takes place in three main levels:
- The first level defines the desired energy of the image by taking into account the general mood of the music and the rhythm and selecting the appropriate color combination.
- The second level is created from the “body” of the music and is reflected in the main colors and shapes of the painting. While listening to the music, Dina lets her hand dance and brings the energy intuitively and unfiltered to the screen.
- The third layer adds depth and contrast to the image by taking into account the high notes and bass. The bass represents darker colors, while the high notes are expressed in clear, bright colors.
The combination of music, colors and shapes creates unique works of art that reflect both the artist's individual experience and the spirit of the city of Berlin.
