Many years ago, Gesa Weitzenböck set out to find the perfect paraline and the most unique truffles for the first time. After numerous attempts, perfecting courses and contacts with the world's biggest chocolatiers, she found what she was looking for in 2008. The result: The first Bitter Süß collections made by Gesa Weitzenböck. A new cult — with one major flaw: The small delicacies were always sold out after just a few days in subsequent years.
After more and more customer orders, national and international awards and her chocolatier and sommelier de chocolaates training in Buenos Aires in 2014, everything changed: The bitter-sweet collection, comprising more than 40 creations, is now available all year round. Her delicacies can be purchased in her studio and shop at Hirschengasse 1, in Vienna's 6th district. As always, using organic and fair trade ingredients, the world's best Grand Cru chocolates, inspired by grandmasters from all over the world. Each praline is a unique handmade piece from the first Viennese chocolate factory.
