My name is Antje Münch and I am a painting manager for expressive painting and sound artist. I give you space and opportunities to discover and express your creative side and strengthen your personality. In my painting courses and wind game workshops, you can be yourself, be inspired by others and experiment freely. You can trust (learn) your intuition and experience the strengthening power of your creativity. With my singing bowls, gong, monochord and other instruments, I create meditative, silent or even varied, inspiring sound spaces that encourage you to relax and be with yourself during sound meditations, sound journeys and sound concerts.

What is expression painting?

Expressive painting is free, intuitive painting — value-free, open-ended, focused on the process of painting. It's playing with paints, brushes, spatulas, your own hands. You are completely with yourself, in the here and now. In this way, you can lovingly perceive and integrate your feelings: You bring joy or anger, lightness or even heaviness to paper. In the end, there is the liberating feeling of reconciliation and your image as a testimony to your process.
I, as a painting manager, will accompany you as an empathetic listener, as an “obstetrician” for your processes and pictures.

Expression painting — How does that work?

No previous artistic knowledge is required for printmaking. You have the freedom to paint what you want. In particular, you are not under any pressure to paint a “nice picture.” You paint while standing on large-format sheets of paper and can thus give impulses with your head, heart, hand and your entire body.
At the beginning of the painting lesson, I perform a small ritual to ensure a good arrival in the studio and switch off from everyday life. This could be, for example, a body trip or a sound meditation with singing bowls.

The painting location

My “Studio Sound and Color” is available to you as a protected space for painting. Here is all the material needed for expressive painting: a wide range of high-quality gouache paints, paste, brush, spatula, paint rolls... and large-format paper (70 x 100 cm).
The walls are prepared as painting walls, because painting is done while standing. In the center of the room is the color organ — a low shelf with all the colors and utensils that you can use.
