Super nice course leader who is well coordinated and, in addition to fundamental knowledge and some cooking hacks as an add-on, also impresses with great preparation, great leadership, and friendliness and great service anyway. We also found it very good that we did not cook an extremely unusual chi chi menu together, but solid, feasible and delicious cuisine. As a trained chef, the “chef” of the evening also repeatedly interspersed very interesting details about the chemistry of cooking, which I found extremely exciting and helpful. (Always sift flour if possible, etc.) Alcohol was not forced on us, another plus - and the white wine chosen by one of us was really good. Great organization, good impression of the location - gladly again! (You'd think I'd be paid for this review, but I won't, I was just really impressed)

Very nice course in a relaxed atmosphere. The course instructor takes the participants along well and also explains a lot about product knowledge (products, ingredients). The only criticism: the number of participants was at the upper limit of 15. Sometimes a bit tight to the cooking island.

We attended the sushi cooking class with our son (10 years old). We learned a lot about sushi and also rolled super delicious sushi ourselves. There were very valuable tips and my son also received support from the super lovely Sandra. He felt very comfortable and had a lot of fun. The ingredients are all high-quality. The location is very bright, very clean and inviting. We will definitely be back again. The course instructor Esther was very friendly and explained everything interestingly. The time just flew by super fast. Big praise from us and thank you for a great morning.

I took the course together with my partner. We had absolutely no experience making sushi. We spent a wonderful afternoon in a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Everyone could make their own sushi rolls and enjoy them afterwards. The quality of the ingredients was very good. The same applies to the guidance of the very competent and very friendly course instructor. I can highly recommend this course to anyone who likes sushi and wants to try it out for themselves.

It was a lot of fun and we learned a lot! However, the PowerPoint slides were difficult to read and the font was too small. Suggestion: Send it as a PDF by email afterwards, then you can read everything again. The camera aimed at the desk was good, so you could easily understand the steps. Good material, from ingredients to knives.

Get to know Asia Food-Cooking

The Asia Food-Cooking School in Cologne was founded in 1997 by Jerry and Sue because so many friends and acquaintances always wanted to know how you prepared the delicious dishes and where the many ingredients are and what you need and so on... questions, questions and questions!
Things couldn't continue like this and you then opened your cooking school. The press and TV quickly became aware of your workshops because your cooking school was authentic, individual, trendy and yet everyone could afford them. Both were known from Sylt to Munich through various TV appearances, reports in newspapers and magazines. A true authentic Asian cooking school offering cooking classes from across the Asian region under one roof. They were both extremely proud of that. Kitchen & cooking was rediscovered again, especially by the Lords of Creation. Cooking is fun again! After many years of collaboration with Sue and Jerry, we, the 90st, continue cooking school in the spirit of both of them. The cooking school remains a true Athenian-Asian cooking school, just as the two of them wished for.
