About this class

At this sausage seminar, you will learn how to make the three most famous Palatinate sausage specialties under expert guidance from master butcher Simon Funck: original Palatinate saumages, juicy liver dumplings and rough Palatinate bratwurst! You have to lend a hand in all production steps yourself and participate in a relaxed atmosphere.

What you’ll do in the class

After briefly getting to know the maximum of 10 participants, we start right in the sausage kitchen: First, the meat must be removed from the bone, cut and put together for the individual types. We will then discuss the exact recipe, prepare spices and other ingredients and you can then fill your own sausage yourself. In between, of course, there is a small snack - after all, the quality of the sausage mass must be critically checked. The individual sausages are then cooked and prepared, depending on the type. The end is a joint dinner, during which the homemade specialities are of course tasted. This gives you the opportunity to exchange ideas and ask all kinds of questions about meat production, butchery and crafts.
