The story:
In 2002, Edoardo Miroglio, a well-known Italian wine producer, found in the Thrace region a soil of unsurpassed quality and the ideal climatic conditions for producing fine wines. This unique terroir extended across the picturesque village of Elenovo, about 22 kilometers southeast of Nova Zagora. After careful analyses and soil tests in the area around the village of Elenovo, Edoardo Miroglio discovered that this terroir is truly unique for Bulgaria and is equally suitable for growing both red and white grape varieties. As a result of this insight, he decided to establish one of Bulgaria's most modern wineries here. The idea of combining Italian expertise in vineyard cultivation and oenology with the excellent tradition of Piedmont led to the birth of the winery, which carried out its first grape presses in October 2005. The entire wine production process is controlled by a group of Italian and Bulgarian oenologists, led by world-renowned oenologist Marco Monchiero. The result is exquisite wines from French and Bulgarian grape varieties, of outstanding quality, which are unparalleled in the Thrace region. Homer already praised Thracian wine over 3000 years ago.
We are looking forward to seeing you!
