Spring awakening - Forest bathing in spring stands for new beginnings, liveliness and gentle blossoming when senses, body and nature get moving again.

In my 3-hour forest bathing courses in Berlin, you dive into the regenerative power of the forest — slowing down, mindful and scientifically based. You experience nature consciously and with all your senses, release tensions, reduce stress and find your way back to inner peace naturally.

The “Shinrin Yoku” — forest bathing — developed in Japan in the eighties as a pleasant balance to hectic working life. Mindfulness, deceleration and conscious experience of nature still help millions of people there reduce stress and improve health.

In Berlin, too, Waldbaden is becoming a haven from the flow of big cities. This is about regrounding body and mind, clarifying thoughts and becoming noticeably lighter. Because nature has long had a recipe for constant stress, overwork and the feeling of constantly having to function.

Studies show: Forest bathing lifts the mood, strengthens the immune system, improves sleep and concentration, and balances the heart rhythm. The beneficial substances in trees — the phytoncides — help your body to mobilize new strength. And last but not least, spending time together in the forest connects people on a deeper level.

How does this experience take place?

In this 3-hour forest bathing course, you will dive into the regenerative power of the forest — decelerating, mindful and scientifically based. You experience nature consciously and with all your senses, release tensions, reduce stress and find your way back to inner peace naturally. Nature awakens in spring and since we humans are part of it, we join in.

The course is led by Sarah Maske (forest bathing instructor) with exercises, meditations and creative tasks that help you to concentrate on yourself again. FOR EXAMPLE:

Who is it suitable for

This course is aimed at all people, with and without experience in forest bathing, who long for peace, inner balance and conscious relaxation. We dedicate ourselves to techniques that help body and mind to let go of the consequences of permanent stress, tension and overload and get back into a natural rhythm.

My motivation is very personal: I know the effects of physical and mental overload from personal experience — and I know how deeply they can have an effect. Forest bathing has become an important part of my own regeneration and self-healing. With this experience, a lot of empathy and great dedication, I share this practice with others today.

If you have physical limitations or are unsure whether the route is suitable for you, feel free to contact me in advance. Together, we'll find a route that's easy for you — barriers don't automatically have to be an obstacle.
