About this class
In this special ceramics course in Leipzig, you will work directly with real plants, leaves and flowers. We complement the plate technology with a floral surface design. When the plant parts are carefully incorporated, fine structures, delicate reliefs and vivid traces in the clay are created. Each plant leaves its own imprint — sometimes delicate, sometimes powerful. This gives your ceramic depth, character and a completely natural aesthetic. A course for anyone who likes to work with their hands, look closely and enjoy floral traces in the material.
What you’ll do in the class
After rolling out and cutting the clay, carefully work plants, leaves and flowers into the clay plates so that they leave fine structures, delicate reliefs and traces. In the next step, you will shape your individual workpiece from the clay plates with my support.
After about 2 weeks, I burn your work piece, color the floral structures, glaze your ceramic and burn it again. Then you can pick up your favorite finished ceramic in my workshop in Leipzig.

A course for anyone who likes to work with their hands, look closely and enjoy floral traces in the material.
The course is ideal for beginners and advanced learners. Children aged 12 and over are welcome to participate when accompanied by an adult.
