I cordially invite you to a tape art workshop with Acrly in my studio in Frankfurt! In a creative atmosphere, you will learn how to create impressive works of art with adhesive tape and acrylic paint — even without any previous knowledge.
Tape art is a playful and modern technique that uses adhesive tape to create shapes, structures and effects. Together, we'll discover how you can create clear lines, color gradients, depth and perspective in your images with simple means. In the end, you take home your own, professional-looking and colorful work of art — a real eye-catcher for your walls!
What you’ll do in the class
We start with a small inspiration session: We look at works by various tape and acrylic artists, discuss what fascinates us about them, and develop our own ideas from them.
Then I'll show you step by step how to plan your design, combine colors and work with tape. You will learn how to mask precise edges, design geometric surfaces and create exciting contrasts or progressions with color.
You can decide whether to peel off the tape at the end to get clean, clean lines — or whether you leave the colorful tape on the canvas as part of your work of art. This allows you to create perspective escapes, lighting effects and depth that give your image a unique character.
The workshop takes place in my studio in the Bockenheim district of Frankfurt — a creative space with a relaxed atmosphere, ideal for trying things out and exchanging ideas. I have space for up to 10 people and all materials (tapes, paints, brushes, documents, etc.) are provided, of course.
