About this class
In this compact workshop in my studio in Garbsen, everything revolves around a special form of urban art: tape art.
Tape art offers an easy introduction to the world of street art. Instead of spray paint, we work exclusively with adhesive tapes of different colors. This results in lines, shapes and graphic patterns, from which individual motifs are built up step by step.
Together, we develop initial ideas and implement them directly in practice. You can either create your own designs or work on an idea together with others. The technology combines creative experimentation with concentration, creative thinking and collaboration. Thanks to the clear and precise way of working, you can quickly achieve visible results even without previous experience.
At the end, you design your own MDF motif board in the format 30 × 30 cm. On it, you can create graffiti lettering or an individual motif. You will of course take your finished work of art home with you.

Welcome and introduction

Brainstorming and sketches
You develop initial motifs. If you want, design a simple graffiti logo or plan a graphic motif. I will support you with structure, composition and implementation options.
Design of MDF panels
Now the practical work begins. You design your own MDF board using tape art techniques. Individual motifs are created step by step from lines, shapes and areas of color. I'll give you tips on technology and help you with the implementation.
You then take your finished MDF board home.
