Have you ever wondered what secrets lie behind the diverse world of rum? Whether for a cozy evening with friends or as a highlight for your next company event — a tailor-made rum tasting is the answer.
Hi, I'm Sven. I have been sharing my passion and expertise for rum with private individuals and corporate clients for over a decade. You can find me not only at events, but also online as a “Rumtastisch” as well as on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, where I share the culture and stories behind every rum with you.
The journey of discovery into the world of rum begins soon: Either I come to a location within Bremen of your choice, at no additional cost for travel, or we will organise your event in a location carefully selected by me, which is available for a moderate room rent.
This option not only offers flexibility in terms of the venue, but also allows the ambiance to be perfectly tailored to the theme of the evening. Whether in a private atmosphere, in an inviting seminar room or in an extraordinary luxury location, such as the admiral suite of the former Beck's ship “Alexander von Humboldt”, together we create the ideal setting to explore the world of rum in all its facets.

How does this activity work?
I'll come to you, or we'll meet at the mutually agreed location.
I bring everything we need to try rum: all bottles, glasses and lots of stories.
Please bring tap water to rinse your glasses and drink along the way, as well as flavor-neutralizing snacks.
You can buy other drinks yourself - when we meet at a restaurant of your choice, they provide snacks and drinks at fair prices.
Who should definitely take part?
For now, the course is designed for beginners and beginners and covers basic knowledge. The rums are well suited for beginners.
However, with prior arrangement, we can also change the theme of the event and also take rums that are challenging in terms of taste.

Your own location in Bremen.
Optional: “Alexander von Humboldt” Admiral Lounge (+€200 package).
Catering:
1 liter of still water/person, white bread or unseasoned crackers.
What is included?
Rum selection
- The participant fee includes 7 different rums, which in my opinion give the best possible insight into the topic of the evening. 40 ml of each rum will be served per participant over the evening.
Do you have a (change) request regarding the selection of rum? I would be happy to make you an offer.
Tasting glass (on loan)
- I bring a professional tasting glass on loan for each participant. On request, this glass can be purchased after the event (10,00€).
