Class description

I offer acrylic painting courses for children aged 5 and up and adults, whether as a birthday event, to bring teams together or simply as a creative break. In my work in kindergarten, I noticed that children need more creative support to develop their imagination and expressiveness. Creativity is an essential part of child development — it strengthens self-confidence and promotes problem-solving skills.

For children, creative design is not only fun, but also an important opportunity to express their feelings and improve their motor skills. Through playful and artistic activities, they can better understand and process their environment.

My courses also offer many benefits for adults. We often have deep-rooted beliefs within us, such as “I'm not creative” or “I can't paint.” These beliefs can prevent us from trying new things and discovering our creative side. Through my acrylic painting courses, I want to give adults the chance to free themselves from these limiting beliefs and develop their creative abilities. Painting can be a wonderful form of relaxation and self-discovery that strengthens self-confidence and opens up new perspectives.

Regardless of whether you are planning an unforgettable children's birthday party, want to strengthen the team spirit in your company or are simply looking for a creative break — my acrylic painting courses offer an inspiring and enriching experience for every age group and every occasion. Let's explore the world of colors and shapes together, boosting our creativity and self-confidence!

How does this activity work?

I have my own location in the heart of Berlin Mitte, with space for up to 6 people, ideal for small groups and a personal atmosphere. Alternatively, I would also be happy to visit your company's own premises, daycare center, private households or other venues. This allows you to take part in my acrylic painting courses flexibly and conveniently, wherever it suits you best. I'm looking forward to it.

The picture is ready to be taken home afterwards.

What you'll learn:

Acrylic

acrylic paint is an extremely versatile medium! You can apply it thinly for watercolor effects, or thick for intense color results. It is easy to dilute with water, dries quickly, is odorless and waterproof as soon as it dries.

Wet-on-wet

This technique requires quick work, as the freshly applied, still moist paint is immediately further processed or mixed with another layer of paint. This creates beautiful, soft color transitions and organic effects.

Glaze

The glaze technique, also known as glazing paint application, focuses on diluting the color and the right timing. The aim is to create transparent, translucent layers of paint. Although we don't use glaze colors, we can achieve similar delicate effects with acrylic paint.

Pastos

In the impasto technique, also known as pasty paint application, the paint is applied thickly and in relief. This creates a structure that you can see and feel. The technique accentuates the opacity and texture of the paint, creating vivid and dynamic surfaces.

Sprinkling (spray technique) Sprinkling is an abstract art technique in which paint is dripped,

speckled, sprayed, or poured onto the canvas. This expressive and spontaneous method creates dynamic and expressive visual effects.

Who should definitely take part?

Beginners and advanced users who like colors and have fun.
